The European Centre for Human Rights Training supports legal professionals. We develop materials on the most important human rights issues, case studies, E-learning activities etc.

Part of the materials are free available on this website. We believe that by sharing information and experience we can empower human rights lawyers and build a strong community. You are welcome to use our materials for non-commercial purposes.

Internet based learning

is very effective when you need to have fast and easy access to up-to-date information on eg case-law of the (international) courts.

We create internet-based learning solutions providing fast access to state of the arts materials on themes, Articles of the ECHR or recent case law. Human rights expert Hermine Masmeyer worked with the European Court of Human Rights and was manager of the Council of Europe's Programme for Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals.

She has a broad experience as a lawyer and a judge. She has been a trainer since 2001 and worked in several European countries.
